The use of Resifan in construction and its advantages

In places where a continuous and smooth finish is desired, Resifan is the ideal self-leveling and colored coating. Low maintenance and solid color are its main advantages. A polished vinyl floor is similar in appearance to the Resifan coating surface.

All types of hard surfaces can be coated with the Resifan coating, which has a thickness of 2 to 3 mm. The product can be applied to homes, industrial spaces, shops, over existing finishes, and under floor heating systems.

As a result of the Resifan coating, it is possible to apply continuous floors in large areas and they are highly resistant to wear. During temperatures below 5° Celsius, the Resifan coating cannot be applied.

Surface Preparation for Resifan Coating

  • You should remove wax, paint, debris, plaster, moisture, and other unnecessary substances from the surface. Rough surfaces are conducive to better adhesion between the existing surface and the Resifan coating.
  • Before applying Resifan, cracks should be repaired and filled properly. Surfaces can be made of mortar, concrete, or mosaics that are finely leveled.
  • A continuous colored resin with a thickness of 2 to 3 mm that self levels. When continuous finish, smooth finish, and low maintenance are required, RESIFAN is the perfect choice.
  • The application of continuous floors allows for large dimensions and excellent wear resistance.
  • As opposed to other linings like MicroCement or Microbeton, RESIFAN doesn't streak: it achieves a sophisticated, minimalist product image with its full or solid color finish. It doesn't matter what colors you choose, you can work with them either way. Similar to vinyl floors, it has a similar appearance.
  • Having no gaskets involved, it can be used on all hard surfaces, even existing ones, without the need to tear them down.

Merits of Resifan

This product can be applied quickly on many surfaces to achieve a smooth finish on a large area. Resifan coating is mechanically strong and wear-resistant, with good mechanical properties. As Resifan bonds perfectly with existing surfaces, it can be applied to existing finishes.

It is not affected by a wide range of toxic chemicals, such as organic acids, diluted minerals, alkalis, and solvents. Once it has been placed, it sets quickly and can be used for foot traffic immediately. Resifan surfaces are easy to clean, require little maintenance, and come in many colors.

If carbon fibers are added to the mixture, Resifan can be used to construct antistatic flooring for operating rooms. The self-leveling ability of Resifan also reduces construction time. A sanitary skirting board can be made with it, and it is odorless.

Uses of Resifan

It is an excellent choice for homes, factories, shopping malls, and the food industry. As a result, it is resistant to chemical substances & it is ideal for areas with light or medium traffic.

Decorative flooring can be made from it when color stability is of utmost importance.

It is suitable for coating antibacterial and hygienic floors such as those in laboratories, clinics, and doctor's offices. Additionally, it can be used for walls as well as floors on both the inside and outside of the house.

Maintenance & Clearance of Resifan

Cleaning with a vacuum cleaner is the best way to remove dust and dirt. If necessary, a damp cloth and a conventional detergent can be used to clean the surface.

Mops and rags should not be used if they are dripping & it is advisable to use a dry cloth to remove shoe tracks. To prevent premature wear, wax should be applied periodically. Resifan Sealer should be used to seal the Self-Leveling Resifan to facilitate maintenance.
